Over the years several users groups came into existence, some local and some national like the DGI "Clearinghouse" (which I never saw and have no copies), Bridge and Judge. I have several of each of Bridge and Judge, but would like to have the whole set at least on the site, so anyone out there who has any, please share. The PDFs are posted below. I will attempt to OCR and edit text versions that will be searchable as time permits. These converted articles will appear on the articles page.

JUDGE Joint Users of Digital Group Equipment

Judge began in 1977 as a newsletter by dg users for dg users to share bug fixes, hardware improvements and to answer questions. It was intended to be published every month, but Aug-Sept-Oct of 1977 saw the second issue (Vol.1 No.2), Nov'77-Mar'78 was No.3, April '78 No.4 and finally May-June'78 was No.5 which I believe was the last Judge newsletter published. If I'm wrong about this, please let me know!

Judge had several very good articles about software and hardware bug fixes. See the "Articles" for searchable text versions (available as I have time to OCR and edit).

Bridge

The "Bridge" was "A NEWSLETTER DEVOTED TO HELPING FELLOW DIGITAL GROUP OWNERS OVER THE VOIDS". Notice in the original masthead above that the letters B R I D E were followed by blank spaces which were left blank intentionally for the readers to fill in and submit contest fasion. The official winner was Mr. Caddy McCall of Nonona, Texas with the entry:

BI-DIRECTIONAL REFLECTIONS FOR THE ILLUMINATION OF DIGITAL GROUP USERS

Bridge was published by Lloyd Kishinsky for several years then the torch was passed to Reggie Gates sometime in between Volume III Number 9 (The Christmas Edition 1980) and 1983. I have all of the issues from Volume I Number 1 to Volume III Number 9 then am missing ALL OF VOLUME 4 and then I have Volume 5 Number 1 and no others. If anyone out there has any other issues, I would sure appreciate their parting with them (or at least a high quality scan...). A note about the dates of the publication, "Bridge" did not have a publishing date or edition date of any type, so I use the average of the dates of any letters found in each issue.

Brown Box Journal

I only have two editions of the "Brown Box Journal" which was a sponsored (read advertising and lots of it here) newsletter published by Cipher Computer Company of Shawnee Mission, KS. While most advertising for new products from various vendors, there are some very good articles about programming and a couple on hardware fixes, etc. As always if anyone has additional editions, I would like to have images or originals to publish.
